• Anybody know how to get TurboTax import of Ameritrade /Gains Keeper trade data working correctly w/wash sales? Arghhhh! #

• A house bought on certain dates in 2008 may = 7.5k tax “credit” that you must repay, while if you bought in 2009 you get an 8k gift. But… #
• … but if you already owned a house and just kept paying your mortgage (or moved & bought again) you get NO credits. #
• ..No NEW credits, I mean. You still get mortgage interest deduction, while renters (those living in cities not built on petroculture) get 0. #
• . . . Let’s burn the tax code & start over. #
